Self Registration for CPSC eFiling is now Available

The CPSC has opened Self-Registration for eFiling. If you wish to get approved as an early eFiler, you can register today at the CPSC eFiling website.

The benefit of filing early is that once registered, your company will see a reduction in your risk score. You can see fewer exams and reduced hold times, potentially reducing the costs of importing your products. Since your certificate data will be on file, this will help expedite certificate checks and let the CPSC focus on higher-risk products.

Perhaps the main benefit is that you have time to implement your data gathering workflows to capture the data you will need to collect when certifying new products after July 8th of this year. This data will be needed to file any imports after July 8th, 2026.
