Comply PRO+ is now a GS1 US Channel Partner, enabling you to license GTINs right from the app.. GS1 is the global authority for the unique identification of products and companies. Many third-party barcode vendors claim that they have GS1 barcodes, but only barcodes purchased directly from GS1 or a GS1 channel partner uniquely identify your company as the brand owner. Retailers often verify barcode authenticity by checking the GS1 Database. If your company isn’t listed there as the brand owner of that barcode, your account could be suspended or you might need to relabel products, costing you time and money.

Using GLNs can help improve visibility into a product’s location at any point in the supply chain. Have you started implementing them in your company?

There is a continued need for greater accountability, efficiency, and visibility along the supply chain. GLNs help take the confusion out of sharing important information about companies and locations.

A GLN can also help:

  • Provide a consistent, standardized way to identify parties and locations.
  • Increase efficiency through quick, accurate, and actionable data exchange.
  • Create a single source of truth for reliable party and location information, such as name, address, and purpose.
  • Use the same global identifier throughout markets and channels, allowing you and your trading partners to readily communicate information across systems.
  • Play a critical role in meeting regulations. In healthcare, a GLN will help fulfill requirements for the Drug Supply Chain Security Act.

We’re authorized to license single GLNs, GTINs, and GS1 Company Prefixes directly from GS1 US.

The GS1 US Channel Partner Program is designed to enable wider access to GS1 US identifiers, including Global Location Numbers (GLNs), Serial Shipping Container Codes (SSCCs), and Global Trade Item Numbers (GTINs).

The benefits of this partnership for our customers include:

→ Helps meet the requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)

→ Avoid issues associated with non-GS1 identifiers that cannot be verified.

To identify products, choose a GS1 Company Prefix or single GS1 US GTIN based on your product line growth.
